  At Apleona , We are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team , We currently have an opening for cleaning operatives to join out team at our site in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork

  Shift Pattern Monday to Friday 15:00 - 22:00

  Main duties and responsibilities

  Work effectively and adhere to all Site Specific and Apleona Procedures and instructions

  Take responsibility for the safe use of all cleaning materials and equipment used in the course of your duties

  Ensure cleaning activities are completed in a manner which will not compromise the health and safety of employees and visitors to the site.

  Complete all logbooks and documentation in a timely manner as per site instructions and SOPs

  In coordination with cleaning supervisor plan, schedule and execute cleaning activities in the relevant GMP or designated areas

  Report fabric defects to the cleaning supervisor

  Ensure all equipment is safe before use and report any faults to machinery and be aware of service requirements

  Report health and safety related issues to the supervisor with minimum delay

  Remain security conscious and report any suspicious incidents or observations to the supervisor with minimum delay

  Follow all gowning procedures as per site procedures and SOPs

  Show commitment to excellence, assume responsibility

  Act responsibly to the natural environment and society

  Deal responsibly with capital & equipment

  To order stocks and ensure that all storerooms are stocked in a safe and tidy manner to avoid stock loss and minimise wastage

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  Solid record of attention to detail, strict adherence to procedures and safety focused

  Flexibility and results focused in a fast-paced lean environment

  The successful candidate must also hold:

  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation

  Well-organised and capable of prioritising own work

  Flexible, honest and reliable

  Previous experience as working as a cleaner is desirable

  Experience in the use of cleaning equipment is desirable

  Basic health and safety knowledge

  Flexible approach to working as part of a team
