Join the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, which maintains and optimizes technologies across our global warehouse and delivery network.

Purpose of the job

We are seeking an experienced Electric Vehicle Charger Manager to lead a team responsible for the remote coordination of maintenance activities across our EV charging network, supporting Amazon's commitment to sustainable transportation and reducing our carbon footprint.

Key responsibilities
  1. Drive improvements in EV charging operations and maintenance processes.
  2. Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and facilitate cross-functional meetings.
  3. Establish quality control standards for EV charger installation and maintenance SOPs.
  4. Implement tracking systems and KPIs for charger uptime, utilization, and costs.
  5. Manage budgets for EV charger activities, balancing cost and quality.
  6. Oversee vendor contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  7. Collaborate with utility companies and authorities on power infrastructure and compliance.
  8. Partner with RME teams to implement best practices for asset reliability and maintenance.
Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Technical knowledge of EV charging systems.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience in EV charging industry and program/project management.
  • Proficiency in additional languages.
