This is a field based, hands on role responsible for the day to day management, compliance, maintenance, and facilities operations across a portfolio of dental practices.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our sites are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently, working closely with contractors, landlords, and internal teams to minimise disruption to clinical activity.
Key Responsibilities Estates & Facilities Management- Manage a portfolio of properties and facilities across a defined region
- Carry out regular site inspections and condition surveys
- Oversee both hard and soft facilities services where required
- Identify maintenance issues and implement timely, cost effective solutions
- Ensure sites are maintained to agreed standards and operational needs
- Support compliance across all sites, including; Health & Safety, Fire safety, Asbestos managemen, Legionella, Electrical and Gas Safety
- Maintain accurate records and certification
- Support internal and external audits
- Manage reactive and planned maintenance programmes
- Appoint and oversee contractors and suppliers
- Monitor performance, cost, and quality of work
- Approve works and invoices within budget
- Support minor works, refurbishments, and fit out projects
- Coordinate works to minimise operational disruption
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage maintenance and facilities budgets and forecasts
- Identify cost saving opportunities
- Raise and approve purchase orders and invoices
- Act as the main point of contact for property and facilities related matters
- Liaise with landlords, agents, and local authorities
- Work closely with operational and clinical team
- Proven experience in estates, facilities, or property management
- Strong knowledge of UK compliance and health & safety legislation
- Strong Project Management experience
- Experience managing contractors and service providers
- Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities effectively
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Experience with leased and freehold properties
- Background in healthcare or commercial environments
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualification
You are organised, practical, and solutions focused, with the ability to manage a varied workload across multiple sites. You're confident working independently in a field based role and comfortable building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You take a proactive approach, spotting issues early and resolving them efficiently to keep operations running smoothly.
Interview Process at Envisage Dental- Stage 1: 30 minute video interview with a member of the Talent team
- Stage 2: 45-60 minute Microsoft Teams interview with the Head of Procurement
- Final Stage: Face to face interview with the Head of Procurement and Chief Finance Officer, held in London or Basingstoke (alternative locations may be available)
As part of the final stage, you will be asked to prepare and deliver a presentation based on a task provided in advance.
