This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ERP or Business Applications Specialist to play a key role in a major SAP transformation programme.

You'll act as the link between the business, existing applications and the future SAP environment, helping understand how the organisation operates today and shaping how those processes will work in the new SAP Group Core Model.

This is a hands-on role with genuine ownership across business analysis, process mapping, requirements, data and testing. You'll work directly with operational teams, including time on the factory floor, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding how businesses really operate.

ERP Business Applications Specialist Responsibilities

• Run business process workshops with users and operational teams
• Map and document current and future-state business processes
• Identify gaps between existing processes and the SAP Core Model
• Gather and document business and system requirements
• Analyse data flows, data quality and migration requirements
• Support data cleansing, validation, mapping and migration
• Develop test scenarios and support integration testing and UAT
• Work with SAP specialists and business stakeholders to resolve defects
• Produce process documentation, procedures and training materials
• Support user training, cutover, go-live and hypercare
• Act as the link between local teams, Group process owners and SAP specialists
• Build wider knowledge of the organisation's business applications and processes

ERP Business Applications Specialist Requirements

• Experience in an ERP, SAP Business Analyst, Business Applications Specialist or similar role
• Experience supporting an SAP or ERP implementation, migration or transformation
• Strong business analysis, process mapping and requirements gathering skills
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes across areas such as manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, finance, sales or logistics
• Experience working with business users and technical teams to translate requirements into practical solutions
• Understanding of data flows, data quality and migration
• Experience supporting testing, UAT and defect resolution
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial
• Comfortable working on site with operational teams when required
