Evolve Recruitment is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused ER Specialist to support our clients busy, team.
£52,800 up to £70,400
Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
An exciting, newly created opportunity has arisen within our client's dynamic and fast-growing Head Office team near Kingston Upon Thames. This specialist team will be responsible for shaping and delivering nationwide grievance management, making this a fantastic chance to step into a role with real influence and visibility.
If you're an experienced Employee Relations professional who thrives on handling complex cases, working at pace, and delivering fair, balanced outcomes, this role offers the perfect platform to shine. You'll be joining a business committed to strengthening and elevating its ER function while driving forward a consistent national strategy.
What you'll do
Manage and coordinate formal and informal grievance cases
Conduct fact-finding and investigation meetings
Provide advisory guidance and coaching to the supporting team
Draft outcome letters and maintain accurate case documentation
Provide practical ER guidance to managers & feedback on case learnings
Carry out of any disciplinary processes, where required
Ensure full compliance with employment legislation
Provide advisory guidance and coaching to the supporting team
Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practices
Contribute to maintaining a positive and professional workplace culture
What you'll need
A legal qualification/ CIPD Level 7 (with specialist EL/advanced EL optional units) is desirable
Solid understanding of grievance procedures and ACAS code of practice
Significant Employee Relations experience, advising middle management and up to date labour law knowledge
Experience of leading grievance investigations and delivering outcomes
Highly developed in handling complex, sensitive and confidential matters
Oversee a busy caseload whilst remaining calm, organised and solution-focused
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Strong GoogleMicrosoft Office skills and HR software proficiency
Experience within a retail or hospitality environment would be advantageous
The ability to collaborate and share best practice with a range of stakeholders using your strong influencing skills
