Location: Cork, Ireland (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Contract: 12-month rolling contract
About the RoleWe are currently seeking an Environmental Compliance Data Analyst to support environmental compliance reporting and financial management across a range of European and non-EU countries. This role is well suited to someone who is data-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
You will be responsible for gathering and analysing data from internal systems and cross-functional teams, preparing regulatory reports, and managing the financial aspects associated with environmental compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities- Complete environmental compliance reporting using SAP and other internal systems
- Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to external recycling and compliance schemes
- Support environmental compliance across WEEE, Battery, and Packaging EPR reporting
- Manage financial activities related to compliance reporting, including:
- Invoice approval
- Budget tracking and spend forecasting
- Ensuring sufficient funds are available for assigned accounts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve reporting and data issues
- Participate in project-based initiatives by gathering requirements and helping design and implement solutions
- Prepare and present presentations or keynotes as required
- Support and complete environmental audits when necessary
- Minimum 3 years' relevant Experience in environmental compliance, data analysis/administration, or project management
- Prior Experience with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reporting is highly advantageous
- Strong Experience in data quality control and assurance
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent)
- Experience using SAP is a plus
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
