This is a rare opportunity to build and lead Softcat's Enterprise business in Ireland.

Softcat Ireland is entering a new phase of growth, introducing market segmentation across SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise. The Enterprise Sales Lead will own and develop the Enterprise segment within Ireland, shaping strategy, building market credibility, and driving sustained growth.

Lead and build the Softcat Ireland Enterprise team

This role combines personal sales leadership with strategic segment development. Initially, success will be driven through personal performance and customer acquisition, evolving into building and leading a dedicated Enterprise team over time.

You will be the face of Softcat Enterprise in Ireland, engaging senior customers, representing Softcat in the market, and helping establish Softcat as a credible Enterprise partner across the Irish market.

Responsibilities

As Enterprise Sales Lead - Ireland, you'll be responsible for

  • Build and lead Softcat's Enterprise segment in Ireland, establishing the business as a credible partner in the Irish Enterprise market.
  • Drive Enterprise Gross Profit growth through personal sales performance and new customer acquisition.
  • Own and grow a portfolio of Enterprise customers, building deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and delivering long term value.
  • Define and evolve the Enterprise go to market strategy for Ireland, working closely with UK Enterprise leadership and aligning with local market dynamics.
  • Develop and grow the Enterprise sales team over time, mentoring sellers and shaping future hiring as the segment scales.
  • Act as the external face of Softcat Enterprise in Ireland, engaging C suite customers, representing the business at industry events, and collaborating with technical, services, and vendor teams to strengthen Enterprise capability.
Qualifications

We'd love you to have

  • Proven Enterprise sales experience in Ireland, with a strong track record of delivering commercial results in complex sales environments.
  • Established network within the Irish Enterprise market, with the ability to build and influence relationships at senior (C suite) level.
  • Solution led sales approach, experienced in selling services and outcomes rather than transactional products.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with the drive and ownership needed to build and grow a new sales segment.
  • Strategic yet execution focused, able to shape market approach while personally delivering strong sales performance.
