My client, a leading provider of banking and payments technology is looking to hire an Enterprise/Senior Business Analyst on a long term project.
Candidates must have Merchant Acquiring experience
Position Description Overview
- Works as Enterprise Business Analyst based in Madrid.
- Lead requirement discussion with client and responsible for gathering business requirements from client banks or Financial Institutes.
- Primarily responsible for delivery of the requirement documents such as BRDs/SSDs/Solution Design Documents/RQMs/Configuration Documents etc.
- Should have an excellent communication skill and should be good in relationship building with internal stakeholders and third parties (Schemes, Acquiring banks and Financial Institutions)
- Works as SME for Merchant Acquiring solution (end-to-end)
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for drafting an end-to-end merchant acquiring solution for banks or financial institutions.
- Assures requirement gathering, identifying appropriate solution to the requirement and ensure successful implementation of merchant solution.
- Identifies, analyses, research, and resolves functional queries from internal teams and third parties.
- Ensures complete and prompt resolution for moderate to complex queries from internal teams and third parties directly.
- Effectively interact and communicate with varying internal departments.
- Sound Knowledge on acquiring solution, platforms, systems, and technical knowledge as a plus.
- Keen learner and acts as consultant, expected to understand system parameters and options.
- Identify systemic and business-impacting trends and then escalate through proper channels of leadership.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree for a renowned university or college
- At least 5-6 years of experience in payment card industry
- Extensive SME Functional knowledge in Merchant Acquiring Solutions covering payment gateway, Authorization Switches, Scheme clearing & settlements, merchant pricing (blended, IC+/ models), Interchange and scheme fees, financial reconciliations.
- Good organizational, planning and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision towards the achievement of personal and team goals.
- Analytical skills, understanding industry metrics and trends.
- Has got previous experience working on payment systems, understands end to end merchant acquiring and payment solution
