Enterprise Architect/510 Euros per day/Belgium based

Excellent near-site (2 hours from Brussels) freelance opportunity for an Enterprise Architect.

Initial contract duration: 6 months with strong possibly of extension.

All-inclusive daily rate: 510 Euros

Mandatory experience:

• Expert XML (XSLT, XSD, etc.) knowledge.
• Knowledge of Java (JMS J2EE) architecture and technologies. Oracle/WebLogic technology stack, analytic and visualisation tools (for example AS4, Elastic Search, Kibana, KAFKA), and B2B message exchange protocols (for example AS4), UML, PMI
• Knowledge of ITIL, Tempo Service management framework, MS Project is an asset
• 10 years' experience with enterprise architecture solutions.
• Extensive experience with architecting and managing the life cycle of large scale complex distributed IT systems with multiple stakeholders.
• This includes data and business process modelling, IT design, Technical Specifications, development, Conformance Testing against agreed standards, deployment into operations, the roll-out of transition and/or migration of large-scale IT systems from the one operational phase to the subsequent one.
• Recent extensive project management experience within IT in large-scale integration projects, using a recognised methodology eg PMI, PM2, PM2-Agile, Prince2. Recent experience with Project management tools (such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluent, Nexus, Bitbucket, and Visio).
• Experience in progress monitoring and reporting to all levels within the organisation and involved stakeholders.
• Ability to present and to animate collective intelligence sessions, rapid self-starting capability, and ability to work autonomously are mandatory.
• Recent extensive experience in consultation and coordination with business stakeholders for the assigned IT projects. A customer-oriented approach.
• Extensive experience in negotiating technical solutions eg coming to an agreement on divergent views on data structures.
• Recent extensive experience in consulting and coordinating multiple sub-contractors for the assigned IT projects.
• Ability to produce understandable minutes, notes, business cases, vision documents, service level agreements, terms of collaboration, planning schedules, etc.
• Ability to understand the technological aspects of the project, as well as the risks and the success factors
