This long-term role is vital for ensuring consistency and high-quality learning throughout the academic year. You will take ownership of the curriculum for your classes, contributing to a vibrant, inclusive, and academically challenging environment.

• Inspire & Educate: Plan and deliver high-impact lessons in English Language and English Literature across KS3 and KS4.

• Monitor Growth: Assess and report on student progress, providing targeted feedback to prepare students effectively for their GCSEs.

• Positive Environment: Cultivate a focused classroom culture, maintaining excellent standards of behavior and participation.

• Team Integration: Work collaboratively with a passionate Blackburn-based English faculty to align with departmental goals.

• Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) alongside a relevant degree in English or a related field.

• Substantial experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 (GCSE level).

• A strong desire to commit to a long-term school placement and the wider school community.

• A current Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one immediately).

• Premium Daily Rates: £150 - £220 per day (based on your experience).
