English Teacher

The Role

• Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging and inclusive lessons.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment and departmental activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote high-quality teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English in a UK secondary school.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
• Is committed to raising achievement and inspiring a love of English.
• Has strong communication skills and a positive, professional approach.
