English Teacher Required - Caerphilly (4 Days per Week, Long-Term, September Start)
Aspire People are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join a lovely and welcoming secondary school in Caerphilly for a 4-day-per-week, long-term placement starting in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and well-regarded school, teaching English across Key Stages, with the chance to make a real impact on pupil engagement, progress and attainment.
The Role- 4 days per week, long-term position starting in September
- Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 to a mixed-ability cohort
- Planning, delivering and assessing engaging and creative lessons
- Supporting pupils to achieve strong outcomes in line with curriculum expectations
- Encouraging a love of literature and language through innovative teaching approaches
- Maintaining a positive, structured and well-managed classroom environment
- A lovely, well-respected secondary school in Caerphilly
- Supportive and approachable leadership team
- Strong focus on pupil wellbeing, progress and inclusive education
- A positive and collaborative department with excellent resources
- Welcoming environment for both experienced teachers and those looking to develop
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge within English
- Experience teaching up to KS4
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- A committed, enthusiastic and professional approach
- EWC registration (or willingness to register)
- Competitive daily rate in line with experience
- Flexible working pattern (4 days per week)
