We are looking for a talented and experienced Engineering Team Lead to join our Core AI Services Team. This role balances technical contributions (50%) with leadership and managerial responsibilities (50%). You will dedicate:
- 50% of your time to hands-on project work as a software engineer.
- 50% of your time to managing and supporting a team of 6-10 engineers working on the same project.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Contributions (50%)
- Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code.
- Collaborate on project design, architecture, and implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate relevant technologies.
People Management (50%)
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 6-10 engineers.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.
- Set and communicate clear performance expectations.
- Lead the hiring and onboarding process for new team members.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in engineering leadership.
- Strong technical expertise in software development, with proficiency in Python and Machine Learning (ML).
- Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent organizational skills to balance hands-on technical work with managerial responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective cross-functional collaboratio
