A diverse and inclusive secondary school in the borough of Hounslow are looking for a qualified Engineering teacher to join their school in September 2026

The Role

The school is seeking a hard working, enthusiastic, and dedicated Engineering Teacher with a passion for the subject and the ability to engage and inspire students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons across Key Stage 3 - Key Stage 5, ensuring that all students make excellent progress and develop a love for Engineering.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assessing, tracking, and recording pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
  • Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
  • Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting them in achieving their academic potential.
  • Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Engineering and design.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.

This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs who are able to deliver lessons in KS3 KS5. The role will include full planning and marking and is for the full academic year.
