As an Engineering Project Manager , you are responsible for the overall coordination, execution, and delivery of offshore projects - from concept and basic design to detailed engineering and handover. You combine technical understanding with strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities

As Engineering Project Manager, you oversee the entire engineering process and act as the key interface between clients, engineers, and management.

Your tasks include:

• Managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensuring project objectives are met
• Coordinating planning, budgets, resources, and risk management for multiple offshore projects
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication
• Monitoring project progress and resolving technical or organizational challenges proactively
• Reviewing engineering deliverables and ensuring compliance with specifications and standards
• Preparing project documentation, status reports, and quality reviews
• Supporting the continuous improvement of project management and engineering processes

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Offshore Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore engineering, including at least 3 years in project or team management
• Proven experience with offshore structures such as jackets, monopiles, topsides, or substations
• Strong knowledge of project management methods and tools (PMBOK, PRINCE2, or IPMA certification is a plus)
• Familiarity with design software such as SACS, Ansys, or equivalent analysis tools
• Excellent understanding of offshore engineering standards (DNV, ISO, EC)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage complexity and drive results
