  • Promote strong data quality, governance, documentation, lineage, and ownership practices.
  • Help the team build reliable data pipelines using tools such as dbt, Python, Prefect, Airflow, or similar.
  • Ensure data systems are observable, supportable, and operated with strong production practices.
  • Communicate clearly with technical teams, non technical stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Build a team culture of ownership, quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
About You
  • You have experience leading engineers in data engineering, data platform, software engineering, or a related technical area.
  • You understand modern data engineering practices, including ingestion, transformation, modelling, orchestration, data quality, and governance.
  • You have experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, or similar.

  • You have worked with tools such as dbt, Python, Prefect, Airflow, Looker, Tableau, Fivetran, or similar.
  • You can manage technical roadmaps, prioritise effectively, and deliver cross functional projects.
  • You communicate well with both technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • You care deeply about coaching engineers and supporting their career growth.
  • You balance strategic delivery with operational excellence and support.
  • Experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Terraform, or data observability is a plus.
Benefits
