Salary: Starting at £26,000 per annum DOE. Location: Wolverhampton. Contract: Full time/Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Engineering Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our engineering business. This is a varied role that plays a key part in office coordination, production support, and administrative operations, working closely with engineering, production, and management teams.

Responsibilities
  • Answer telephone calls professionally, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate person
  • Maintain and update planning and scheduling boards daily to ensure seamless operations
  • Manage the ERP system, including component details, enquiries, work orders, and purchase orders
  • Handle general administrative duties such as email correspondence, creating spreadsheets, and liaising with suppliers
  • Support filing, scanning, and maintaining accurate records
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and courier services
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and stationery
  • Provide support with production planning and coordination
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an engineering administration role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time-management and organisational abilities
  • Friendly, professional manner with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
