The role As a Tender Engineer Electrical & Automation at Damen Naval's Proposals department, you will design electrical and automation systems for advanced naval vessels. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions that meet regulatory requirements and enhance our commercial proposals. Assist in preliminary equipment selection and budget allocation through requirements analysis and drafting engineering specifications. Write technical documents, contract specifications, and reports, clearly communicating complex concepts to customers and subcontractors. Participate in discussions on technical and commercial aspects with customers, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Support cost evaluations by subcontractors and internal stakeholders. Strong writing skills for detailed and compelling technical content. Commercial mindset to create viable and appealing forecasts. Bachelor's or master's in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal; Dutch preferred, willingness to learn Dutch required. Flexibility to work from home up to two days a week.
