Role description

As part of this role, the candidate will be responsible for designing security platforms, applications and tools to deliver against the customer Infosec strategy and programs. Knowledge of key security domains MDR, VM, GRC tools, Network security, IAM etc. is a must. Candidate will have work closely with customer / internal enterprise architects, solution architects, technical architects and other senior IT colleagues to ensure services are 'Secure by Design'.

• Strong interpersonal skills are essential, must be able to operate and communicate effectively at all C levels
• Ability to conduct research into security technical platforms and evaluate capabilities. Able to compare security technology products and design 'fit for purpose' solutions
• Providing security solutions team with Cyber Security focused technical consultancy as well as defining and curating supporting content to both educate and enable solutions teams in coming up with the right security solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Definition and ongoing curation of architecture documentation for security platforms and applications: producing architecture blueprints, HLDs and LLDs as required.
• Contributing to the procurement (RFI/RFP) of cybersecurity technology as needed
• Interactions with the customer security stakeholders to understand the requirements and technically articulate the solutions
• Working closely with customer / internal enterprise architects, solution architects, technical architects and other senior IT colleagues to ensure services are 'Secure by Design'
• Definition of cybersecurity specific standards and patterns, and guidance on the security aspects IT standards and patterns
• Working closely with Security Operations, supporting incidents with other level 3 support teams. Providing guidance in the interpretation and application of management information and threat intelligence
• Strong communication skills and past experience with C level interaction across the board.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Functional and Technical knowledge of security domains of IAM, MDR, Network security, VM etc.
• Knowledge of Hyperscaler security and their native security products
• Ability to conduct research into security technical platforms and evaluate capabilities. Able to compare security technology products and design 'fit for purpose' solutions
• Thorough understanding of the security threat landscape, significant risks, technical developments and directions.
• Demonstrable experience of working in a security architecture team including the production of design documentation (HLDs, LLDs, blueprints etc.)
• Experience with security legislation and regulatory frameworks (e.g. PCI-DSS, GDPR, NIS, NIST)
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
• Familiarity with patterns, practices and frameworks of Enterprise security architecture particularly technical design assurance
• Be business-focused, creative, innovative pragmatic and positive team player

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Exposure beyond Cyber Security in relevant domains - Infra Architecture, Estimation, SDLC Security, Cloud Security, etc.
