2 full time permanent posts, 1 full time fixed term contract for 1 year.
We are seeking three new Enforcement Officers to join our Housing Services team at SCH to deliver a high quality, responsive, and solutions focused service to our residents.
This key role in our Housing Services team will manage a portfolio of cases where enforcement intervention is necessary following sustained breaches of tenancy and ensuring that witnesses and victims are supported throughout the process.
Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of enforcement cases following sustained breaches of tenancy.
- Prepare legal documentation and case files for court.
- Engage with challenging individuals, de escalate difficult situations, and support witnesses and victims throughout the process.
- Travel frequently across the Borough - a full driving licence and use of a car are essential.
- Pro active, experienced in tenancy management, enforcement or anti social behaviour casework.
- Strong understanding of tenancy law, tenancy breaches and the ASB Crime and Policing Act 2014.
- Experience managing conflict and handling complex, sensitive and high risk situations.
- Confidence in preparing legal documentation and case files for court.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase up to 10 additional days per year.
