Energy Trading Legal Counsel - Gas & Power

• Provide legal support primarily for gas and power trading activities
• Provide strategic legal advice to assist with the negotiation of agreements
• Negotiate and draft standard master agreements with external counterparties
• Participate in project groups giving legal advice and assessments
• Work as part of project teams to implement new processes, products, and systems
• Draft and negotiate contracts in cooperation with the business

Requirements

• A law degree from the UK or a European country
• Experience in drafting agreements and negotiating standard master agreements for physical and financial trading of power and gas like EFET, ISDA etc.
• Commodities experience
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently
• Experience working as a legal counsel/attorney or similar
• Self-starter who can manage a varied workload
