Energy Advisor (Fixed Term to 31 March 2029)
Easthall Park Housing Association is a community-based organisation serving the Easterhouse area of Glasgow. We own 695 homes and provide factoring services to 54 owners. Our vision is simple and ambitious: to make Easthall Park - 'A Great Place to Live'.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Energy Advisor on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2029. This role will play a vital part in supporting tenants across Easthall, Kildermorie and Wellhouse in Easterhouse, communities experiencing high levels of deprivation and fuel poverty. The service will be rooted in the community, accessible to all, and focused on practical, long-term solutions that help residents take control of their energy use and costs. This project is funded through Advice UK and delivered in partnership with Easthall Residents Association and Wellhouse Housing Association.
About the RoleThe Energy Advisor will provide tailored energy advice, advocacy, and hands on support to help residents:
- Reduce energy consumption
- Address and resolve fuel debt
- Secure fixed rate energy tariffs with supplier to mitigate energy costs
- Strengthen long term financial and energy resilience
You will work closely with internal teams and local partners to ensure a coordinated, inclusive service for all residents, regardless of tenure.
About YouWe welcome applications from individuals with experience in energy advice and/or advocacy services. The following are essential:
- City & Guilds Energy Awareness Level 3 Award
- Experience delivering face to face and in home advice
- Strong understanding of the challenges facing deprived communities
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
