When a business needs to understand exactly where its energy is going, someone has to get on site, install the monitoring hardware, wire it in safely, and make sure the data flows. That someone is you.

As an EMS Installation Electrician with ClearVUE, you'll work alongside the Services team to install and maintain Energy Management Systems across commercial and industrial sites in the UK and abroad. You'll survey sites, plan safe installations, complete the full electrical and networking setup, commission the system, and handle fault-finding when things need attention. You'll report to the Electrical Manager.

If you're a qualified electrician who enjoys hands on, varied work across different sites - and you want to apply your skills to energy technology rather than just traditional electrical installations - this is a role worth looking at.

What's in it for you?
  • Competitive salary dependent on experience
  • Additional Overtime Pay - rates of 1 1/3, 1.5 and 2 x depending on hours/days.
  • Company vehicle and tools provided
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Month of December off (Fully Paid) with any days worked being additionally paid at full day rate.
  • Pension and access to Simply health (money towards dental care, eyesight checks, physio, etc.)
Your first 90 days
  • Weeks 1-3: Structured induction covering ClearVUE's EMS hardware, software platform, installation standards, and health & safety procedures. You'll shadow experienced installers on live jobs, familiarise yourself with the survey and commissioning processes, and complete your first assisted installation.
  • Weeks 4-8: You're conducting site surveys independently and completing installations with minimal oversight. You know the hardware, the networking requirements, and the commissioning checks inside out. Your paperwork is thorough and your installations are passing quality review first time.
  • Weeks 9-12: You're a fully autonomous installer. You manage your own schedule, handle fault-finding and maintenance calls independently, and are a trusted pair of hands for complex or high profile site installations. The Electrical Manager relies on you to deliver consistently, safely, and to standard.
Hi, We're ClearVUE

The Opportunity

As our EMS installations Electrician, you will work alongside the ClearVUE services Team to install and maintain Energy Management Systems across the UK. This role involves travelling and working away on average of 3-4 nights per week, for which you will receive an overnight allowance.

What exactly will you do?
  • Surveying commercial and industrial sites prior to installation - assessing electrical infrastructure, identifying safe installation methods, and producing materials and stock lists
  • Conducting full end to end EMS installations: electrical wiring, networking the system for internet connectivity, and commissioning to ensure the platform is live and reporting data correctly
  • Fault finding and maintaining existing Energy Management Systems - diagnosing electrical and connectivity issues, replacing components, and restoring full functionality
  • Completing all associated administrative work - installation reports, test certificates, and documentation to the standard required
  • Ensuring every installation complies with company operating policies, procedures, and relevant electrical regulations
  • Working closely with the Health & Safety Advisor to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and safe working practices for both client sites and yourself
  • Travelling to client sites across the UK, with occasional international travel as required

No two weeks look the same. One week you might be surveying a manufacturing facility in the Midlands, planning the cable routes and CT positions. The next, you're on site completing a full installation - pulling cables, wiring CTs, configuring the network gateway, and commissioning the system before handing over to the client. Between jobs, there's maintenance and fault finding work to keep existing installations running. The variety is constant and the work is practical, technical, and visible.
