Job Description

Morgan Hunt is working with a market-leading Welfare to Work provider to recruit an Employment Specialist in Hillingdon. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary between £31,000 to £36,000, depending on experience and skills. The role involves supporting clients with mental health and disabilities into employment within their communities. It requires working within a clinical setting and engaging participants in the community.

The Employment Specialist will be responsible for:

  1. Managing a caseload of 25 participants into sustainable employment
  2. Conducting needs and skills analysis to match participants with suitable roles
  3. Assisting with CV development and interview techniques
  4. Providing post-placement support for sustainable employment
  5. Engaging employers to source suitable work opportunities
  6. Maintaining participant data to track progress

The candidate should have:

  1. A proven track record of supporting individuals with mental health or disabilities into employment
  2. Experience engaging employers to source work opportunities
  3. Experience in a target-driven environment
  4. Ideally, experience working with mental health clients or in a mental health setting
  5. A minimum of a Grade C in Maths and English or equivalent
  6. Competency in using various systems

In return, the successful candidate will receive:
