Employment Solicitor -NQ to 2 Year PQE, Nottingham - £38,000 to £55,000 - Excellent NQ Opportunity The firm A highly regarded Nottingham practice with a strong reputation for delivering quality advice to a broad client base, from owner-managed businesses through to large corporates and well-known brands. The Employment team is particularly well established and recognised in the Legal 500, known for its depth of expertise across employer-led work and its commercially focused approach. - Joining in a newly created position driven by continued growth within the Employment team
- Advising predominantly employer clients across a full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious matters
- Handling issues such as employee relations, tribunal litigation, redundancy and restructuring, TUPE, dismissals and discrimination
- Supporting on more complex matters including High Court disputes relating to restrictive covenants
- Drafting and reviewing key documentation including contracts, policies and settlement agreements
- Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision, while also assisting senior members of the team on larger matters
- Working closely with a collaborative and approachable team, contributing to a positive and engaged working environment
- NQ to 2 years' PQE with prior exposure to employment law
- Able to manage your own matters while knowing when to seek support
- Commercially minded, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice tailored to business needs
- Strong communicator with the confidence to build lasting client relationships
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities effectively
- Ambitious, proactive and keen to establish yourself within a growing team
- A genuine team player who wants to contribute and make an impact
- Building strong relationships with clients and consistently delivering a high level of service
- Taking a proactive approach to problem-solving and adding value beyond the immediate legal issue
- Getting involved in business development initiatives, including webinars, articles and LinkedIn engagement
