Our client, a respected law firm in Leigh-on-Sea, is seeking a driven Employment Solicitor to join their expanding office. You'll play a vital part in delivering strategic advice to a diverse client base and have the autonomy to develop your specialism in a supportive, collaborative setting.
The Opportunity: Your Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Advise a broad range of clients, from individuals to local businesses and SMEs, on all aspects of employment law
- Deliver practical, commercially focused solutions to complex workplace issues
- Draft, review, and update employment contracts, staff handbooks, and HR policies
- Represent clients in negotiations and dispute resolution matters
- Proactively build relationships with new and existing clients and local referrers
- Contribute to business development and raise the profile of the Employment team in Leigh-on-Sea
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- At least 2 years' PQE as a Solicitor with UK Employment Law experience
- Solid technical knowledge of contracts, policies, dispute resolution, and HR advisory
- Excellent communication, client care, and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
- A genuine interest in growing your career and the firm's presence in the region
