This role presents the chance to collaborate with both senior and junior associates, providing clients with comprehensive assistance on a broad spectrum of employment matters, with a special emphasis on Employment Tribunal litigation. What you'll doAs an Employment Solicitor, your role will be diverse and challenging. Your responsibilities will encompass preparing for employment tribunal cases, advocacy in employment tribunals, drafting correspondence to various parties including the Employment Tribunal and ACAS. You will also have the opportunity to contribute by drafting or advising on contracts, policies, and procedures as well as providing general advice on a range of issues such as disciplinary investigations and redundancy programmes.
- Provide expert legal advice on a range of non-contentious employment law issues including contracts, disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancy, TUPE, and tribunal claims.
 - Assist with contentious employment matters ranging from initial fixed fee appointments to representing clients in employment tribunal proceedings.
 - Support both individuals and businesses with practical, commercially focused employment law solutions.
 - Assist with settlement agreements and negotiation with the other side.
 - Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to deliver excellent client service.
 
The ideal candidate for this Employment Solicitor role will have strong technical knowledge and experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Your excellent communication skills enable you to provide top-notch client care. You are capable of working independently but also thrive as part of a team.
- A minimum of 3 years PQE in employment law, where your main focus has been employment law during your qualification.
 - Strong technical knowledge and experience handling contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
 - Excellent communication and client care skills.
 - The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 - Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
