Job Description
Fed up of transactional selling? Want to use your skills to build employer partnerships that actually change lives?
Supported Internships are work-based study programmes for young people with learning disabilities or autism. They combine classroom learning with real-world work placements - and your job is to open doors with local employers.
What you'll do:
- Build relationships with employers across different sectors.
- Secure work experience placements - and negotiate paid jobs when internships finish.
- Work alongside Skills Coaches who support learners in the workplace.
- Make sure placements stick and learners move towards independence.
What you'll need:
- Background in sales, recruitment or employer engagement.
- Confidence to get in front of employers and win them over.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Decent admin and IT skills - because records matter.
This is a 6-9 month fixed term contract, full-time (37.5 hours), based in Northampton. You'll be 100% office-based or out meeting employers - no home working.
