Salary: Up to £65,000 inclusive of a car allowance

Function: HR Operations - ER Helpdesk
Reports to: Head of HR Shared Services
We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead our ER Helpdesk team and deliver a high-quality and customer-focused ER advisory and consulting service across our UK operations (5,500+ colleagues).
The Employee Relations Manager is a key role within HR partnering closely with HR Business Partners and leaders to ensure prompt ER service-delivery that is supportive, assertive and confident.
Being able to develop and maintain strong relationships is a key element of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the ER Helpdesk team, driving performance and service standards.
- Ensure timely, consistent, and compliant ER advice aligned to current and evolving UK employment legislation.
- Review and enhance ER policies, processes, and guides - making then accessible and simple.
- Analyse ER data and produce relevant reports that drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee complex ER casework, including ACAS conciliation and ET preparation.
- Develop and deliver capability initiatives that strengthen managers' employee relations competence.
- Advise on trade union engagement and consultation activity.(as required).
- Provide oversight and delivery of TUPE transfers and support and advice on ER changes during acquisitions, divestments, and restructuring programmes. (as required)
- Occasional UK travel to support complex cases and deliver training.
- Experience with digital ER engagement channels would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated competence in leading and developing teams.
- Extensive ER management experience in a fast-paced, high volume ER role.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation across the UK countries.
- Experience of leading on the enhancement and development of ER collateral (policies, guides etc) that makes life easier for line managers and colleagues.
- Proven experience managing high-risk ER cases and advising senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work with ACAS on conciliation and work collaboratively with external legal teams to prepare for tribunals.
- Ability and experience in to analysing, preparing and presenting ER MI.
- Strong judgement and influencing abilities.
- A CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent) qualification (desirable).
