Job overview

Bank Employee Relations Co-ordinator

The post holder will provide independent, professional Employee Relations advice and support to managers across the Trust, including managing a defined caseload of employee relations matters.

The role will analyse ER data and trends, provide insight and recommendations to improve organisational practice, and contribute to the development of policies and ER processes in support of a Just and Fair Culture.

The post holder will operate autonomously within agreed frameworks, interpreting policy and employment legislation, and escalating only highly complex or high-risk cases.

The postholder works closely with the Employee Relations Manager, HR Business Partner Team and the wider People Division directorate to ensure efficient administrative processes and timely communication across the team.

Main duties of the job

The Bank Employee Relations Co-ordinator role is required to provide essential operational support during the review of the Employee Relations operating model.

Whilst this work is being undertaken, there remains a business-critical need to maintain continuity and capacity across the Employee Relations function, including coordinating Job Evaluation/Consistency Checking, Policy Development/Review, Respect and Resolution processes, Employment Tribunal administration, and broader ER operational activity.

The role is pivotal in maintaining organisational resilience, ensuring critical employee relations services continue to operate effectively and efficiently, whilst allowing ER manager to focus on strategic service improvement priorities.
