CFTC - Business Analyst - Contract

Please note this role requires someone to be in the office 4 days a week.

A Top Tier Investment Bank is looking for a CFTC Business Analyst who will be responsible for understanding and analyzing the implications of CFTC regulations on the bank's business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the bank complies with CFTC requirements while maintaining operational efficiency. This is a critical role in helping us navigate the complexities of CFTC reporting and transaction transparency.

To be considered, you must:

• Have proven experience as a Business Analyst in the financial industry, with a strong focus on regulatory reporting.
• Possess deep knowledge of CFTC regulations and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of other regulatory reporting regimes (e.g., MiFID II, EMIR) is a plus.
• Quickly build a high level of technical and functional expertise.
• Perform complex analyses.
• Have previous operations, financial services, and non-financial regulatory reporting experience.
• Be capable of performing in-depth root cause analyses.
• Identify and document technical and functional requirements.
• Lead project and planned executions.
• Create test plans and perform test execution.
