Location: South West Railway Stations
Working Hours:
- 07:00-11:00 or 16:00-20:00
- Monday to Friday (Bank Holidays excluded)
Contract Type: Permanent / Ongoing
Hourly Rate: To be Confirmed
Training: Fully Provided
About the Role
We are seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to deliver high-quality, on-site medical response services across designated South West Railway stations.
This is a front-line, public-facing role requiring strong clinical skills, professionalism, and the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment. You will often work alongside Paramedics and other emergency response professionals, ensuring safe, compliant, and patient-focused care at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate medical assessment and treatment to members of the public and staff
- Respond promptly to medical incidents within railway station environments
- Deliver care in line with clinical governance frameworks, policies, and protocols
- Escalate care appropriately and support onward referral when required
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and incident records
- Act as a visible, reassuring presence while promoting public safety
A full on-site location induction will be completed before starting duties.
All medical equipment, consumables, and PPE are provided
Registration & Compliance
- Must hold a recognised Emergency Medical Technician qualification
- Maintain current certification and professional competence
- Participate in annual compliance and competency audits
- Adhere to clinical governance, operational, and health & safety procedures
