Portfolio Payroll are proud to be partnering with a high-end prestigious financial services organisation.
Job OverviewWorking within the EMEA payroll team you will be responsible for running payrolls for various countries across the EMEA region.
Day to Day Responsibilities:- Prepare all payroll inputs to the payroll provider for EMEA payrolls (joiners, leavers, fixed and variable pay changes, holidays etc).
- Prepare payroll reports for management to review in adherence with SOX controls
- Streamline and automate manual tasks by leveraging current systems in place
- Have a keen eye for payroll compliance, ensuring well regulated processes.
- Ensure SOPs and process documentation is kept up to date.
- Audit and validate all payroll transmissions for accuracy and reasonability of variances
- Accurately report compensation related to equity
- Develop ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Manage time and tasks to execute all payrolls accurately and timely
- Perform/review prior period adjustments as needed
- First level payroll contact for all payroll inquiries via ServiceNow.
- Research, analyze and resolve payroll-related queries
- Create and import data into Cloudpay payroll system
- Process timely and with confidentiality
- Partner with HR/HRIS/Benefits to understand and support voluntary payroll deductions.
- Partner with HRIS/3rd party configuration support to report and resolve Cloudpay issues
- Support Finance, HR, and other business partners to deliver accurate payroll
- 3+ years of multi country payroll processing experience
- Current experience with Workday HCM/ Cloudpay, payroll system ideal.
- Strong knowledge of payroll best practices
- Analytical skills and ability to perform detailed, technical payroll calculations
- Critical thinking skills to resolve issues or improve processes.
- Ability to prioritise and work under deadline pressures
- Experience with reporting equity compensation
- Possess an aptitude for customer service
- Self-starter who can work independently and learn quickly
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, excel xlookups and pivot tables
- Previously worked with a publicly held company
- Understanding of SOX compliance requirements
- Experience with Germany and France payrolls is a plus
- CIPP is a plus
