EMEA Legal & Compliance (L&C) Coordinator - Executive Assistant & Operations

If so, then come and join us as our next EMEA Legal & Compliance (L&C) Coordinator based in London. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London office!
Responsibilities- Proactive diary and inbox management for the EMEA Chief Legal Counsel and EMEA Chief Compliance Officer, including priority management, gatekeeping and conflict resolution
- Scheduling complex leadership meetings and offsites, preparing agendas, briefing packs, minutes and tracking actions to closure
- Coordinating international travel and itineraries, processing expenses and reconciling corporate cards in line with policy
- Drafting concise briefings, talking points and follow up notes for senior stakeholder and governance interactions
- Supporting Global and EMEA Law & Compliance Town Halls, including agenda creation, logistics, IT coordination and speaker management
- Acting as the EMEA anchor point for visiting L&C leadership across London and other key EMEA offices
- Supporting special projects led by the Global Law & Compliance Operations team
- Owning the EMEA Law & Compliance SharePoint site and maintaining accurate content, access rights and structure charts
- Managing reporting rhythms and producing monthly and quarterly dashboards
- Coordinating cross regional initiatives such as policy rollouts, training campaigns and audits, tracking milestones, risks and dependencies
- Partnering with Finance, HR and IT on spend tracking, onboarding and operational improvements
- Supporting governance, audit and regulatory preparations, ensuring actions are tracked through to completion
- Acting as a trusted liaison across EMEA and global stakeholders, drafting clear and timely communications
This is a highly visible role at the heart of Aon's EMEA Legal & Compliance leadership team. You will work closely with senior leaders across the region and globally, combining trusted Executive Assistant support with real ownership of operational coordination and regional delivery. The role offers exposure to global initiatives, leadership forums and strategic decision making within a complex, matrixed organisation, while allowing you to shape ways of working across EMEA.
Skills & Experience- Strong Executive Assistant experience supporting C suite or senior leaders in complex, global and matrixed environments
- Proven experience coordinating projects, tracking actions, risks and stakeholder updates
- Confidence in reporting and executive storytelling, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent judgement, prioritisation and attention to detail, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- High integrity and discretion, with experience in Legal, Compliance or regulated environments an advantage
