Job Description

Control Risks is looking to bring on an experienced Corporate Security Manager as a part of an embedded project with a top tier client of ours in the apparel industry. The role is based in London and the consultant would be expected to work from the office on a regular basis. This is a 12-month fixed term contract. Their responsibilities will include the following:

  • Lead, advise and strengthen the regional resilience and corporate security function, ensuring that capabilities, competencies and operational standards evolve in line with business needs and the global security strategy.
  • Design, review, refine and implement new and existing security and resilience policies, processes and procedures across the region, ensuring alignment with leading practices, global standards and the operational realities of the UK and broader EMEA environment.
  • Oversee and provide expert direction across all aspects of security operations and crisis management, ensuring seamless coordination, timely response and consistent application of risk management principles across the UK and EMEA region.
  • Monitor and analyse global geopolitical disruptions, acting as a key point of coordination for preparedness and response activities. Provide proactive, forward looking assessments and recommendations to the Global Business Resilience Lead.
Technical and Experience Requirements:
  • The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of Corporate Security procedures, risk management methodologies, investigation, incident management, business resilience and operational security threat management.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate risk management and security
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills are required to support all levels of client leadership with reliable and meaningful information to enable fact-based business decisions.
  • Strong leadership experience as well as extensive project management experience.
  • The individual must be able to work across teams to identify and address a variety of challenges within global security threat and risk management.
  • Experience of the retail sector and familiarity with the commercial operating environment in the UK/EU is desirable.
  • Established relationships with external stakeholders, including law enforcement, intelligence providers and industry peers
