Electrical Technician - Substation

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit 8 Electrical Technicians urgently to work on a substation project for 4-6 weeks in Leeds
Responsibilities- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out troubleshooting to minimise equipment downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and complete accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to support operational requirements.
- Time-served Electrical Technician (Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 minimum)
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, control circuits and the ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, installation and repair of electrical equipment
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills with a commitment to safe working practices
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Competitive hourly rate - CIS/LTD
- 10 hour days, Monday - Friday
- 4-6 Weeks Contract Length
