Electrical Overhead Line Engineer

G2's client is seeking an Electrical Engineer with a focus on overhead transmission lines to join their team in the Netherlands. This is a chance to become part of a forward-thinking technical division delivering basic design and feasibility studies for high-voltage overhead line projects, primarily supporting TenneT-related infrastructure.

You'll play a key role in routing and engineering overhead transmission lines using PLSCADD, an AutoCAD-based package. This is a role offering flexibility, career development, and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge energy projects that have a tangible impact on the Dutch power grid.

Electrical Overhead Line Engineer - Key Details

START: July / August 2025

LOCATION: Arnhem, Netherlands (Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days remote - Tues & Fri)

TYPE: Permanent, Fulltime (38-hour week)

RATES: €50,000 - €70,000 per annum + 8% + annual bonus (up to 1 month's salary)

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor's (BSc or HBO) background in Electrical Engineering
• 1-2+ years of experience working with PLSCADD (essential)
• 3-5+ years of experience of overhead line engineering / transmission line design
• Excellent command of English; Dutch is highly desirable but not mandatory
