Crown Oil Environmental is on the lookout for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with experience in fuel systems. If you're passionate about safety, electrical compliance, and solving real-world engineering challenges, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend customer sites and collaborate with multi-disciplinary fuel system engineers.
  • Design, develop, and modify electrical schematics and systems for fuel tanks.
  • Select and integrate electrical components (sensors, wiring, control systems) with pumps, valves, and monitoring equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with BS 7671 standards and safety protocols.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and on-site troubleshooting to minimize system downtime.
  • Prepare and apply Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS), including dynamic RAMS in the field.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) certified.
  • Excellent working knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to interpret and implement RAMS effectively on-site.
  • Strong team player with a reliable, proactive approach.
  • Willingness to travel and work away from home when required - Company van provided
Desirable (but not essential):
  • SPA (Safety Pass Alliance) certification
  • CSCS card
  • Training/experience in working at height, confined spaces, asbestos awareness
  • Experience with forecourt/fuel systems
  • CompEx or SSSTS/CITB certification
