We now have an exciting new opening for an Electrical Field Service Engineer responsible for the commissioning, routine maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification on a wide range of emergency lighting systems. This position is remote and the candidates should be based ideally in West/North London area up to Leicester to cover assigned clients in this region. Please note that travel across the whole of the UK will be reqiured. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who's keen to join and grow within a global leading manufacturer.

Responsibilities
  • Commission all aspects of the emergency lighting systems, ensuring that the system complies with the relevant British Standards
  • Carry out routine maintenance of emergency lighting systems
  • Conduct fault diagnosis on emergency lighting systems and understand the results so that correct rectification work can be identified and completed
  • Jobs will be assigned to you and completed in a timely manner with detailed reports provided to document the work completed and any relevant recommendations
  • Customer liaison will be essential to the role so good communication skills are required
Qualifications
  • Qualified Electrician ( C&G or NVQ minimum)
  • A good understanding of BS5266
Skills
  • Willing to travel across the UK and stay overnight up to a week at a time
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Microsoft packages, Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Good listening, Influencing and communication skills
