Role Overview:

The Electrical Engineer plays a vital role in supporting site maintenance, inspections, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, motivated individual capable of planning and executing preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include organizing team maintenance activities and participating in site-wide projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and organize electrical maintenance checks and reactive work orders.
2. Accurately record and report data related to Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
3. Coordinate with contractors for PPM activities.
4. Perform planned and reactive maintenance as required.
5. Maintain proper stock levels and storage of materials.
6. Keep relevant documentation compliant with company policies, maintaining confidentiality.
7. Possess HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering.
8. Hold City and Guilds Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition).
9. Work effectively under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
10. Handle customer queries professionally and courteously.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

13. Follow recognized procedures and systems.
14. Demonstrate reliability, dependability, honesty, and integrity.
15. Be flexible with working hours, including participation in an on-call rota.
16. Use hand and power tools competently and safely.
17. Have previous experience in maintenance or construction roles.
18. Understand health and safety policies and systems.
19. Make confident decisions to achieve desired outcomes.
20. Experience with software such as CAD is desirable.
