Role Overview:
The Electrical Engineer plays a vital role in supporting site maintenance, inspections, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, motivated individual capable of planning and executing preventative maintenance. Responsibilities include organizing team maintenance activities and participating in site-wide projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize electrical maintenance checks and reactive work orders.
- Accurately record and report data related to Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
- Coordinate with contractors for PPM activities.
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance as required.
- Maintain proper stock levels and storage of materials.
- Keep relevant documentation compliant with company policies, maintaining confidentiality.
- Possess HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Hold City and Guilds Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition).
- Work effectively under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
- Handle customer queries professionally and courteously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

- Follow recognized procedures and systems.
- Demonstrate reliability, dependability, honesty, and integrity.
- Be flexible with working hours, including participation in an on-call rota.
- Use hand and power tools competently and safely.
- Have previous experience in maintenance or construction roles.
- Understand health and safety policies and systems.
- Make confident decisions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Experience with software such as CAD is desirable.
