About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a part-time/ temporary basis. This role is ideal for professionals looking for flexibility while providing expert support in cost estimation, pricing, and financial management within electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring competitive pricing
• Oversee tenders and contracts, assessing feasibility and risk factors
• Conduct cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for electrical installations
• Manage all financial aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to budgets
• Work closely with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to evaluate costs
• Provide support and advice on procurement, cost control, and value engineering
• Assist in negotiation of contracts and client discussions

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator or QS in LV/HV or building services.
• Strong knowledge of electrical cost estimation, procurement, and tender processes
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
