Electrical Technical Interface Engineer - Surrey - outside IR35

Venn Group's specialist Estates & Facilities Management recruitment team is recruiting an Electrical Technical Interface Engineer for a large NHS organisation in Surrey. This opportunity offers the chance to play a key role in the delivery of a major hospital redevelopment programme and influence the future design of healthcare infrastructure.

The role

You will be responsible for:

• Reviewing electrical engineering designs, specifications and technical submissions for a major capital programme
• Acting as the key interface between operational estates teams and project delivery partners
• Supporting design assurance, technical governance and engineering compliance activities
• Ensuring designs meet operational, maintenance and lifecycle requirements
• Coordinating responses to technical queries and stakeholder feedback
• Contributing to operational readiness and transition planning

About you

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience reviewing electrical building services designs and technical documentation
• Strong understanding of healthcare estates, facilities management or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of electrical systems including LV distribution, standby power and essential services
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
