Electrical Quality Inspector

Rate: Hourly Rate Inside IR35
Duration: 6 Months +
Onsite Working: Nottinghamshire

• Liaise as and when necessary with other members of Property and Development and the wider Housing Service, other Council services, Statutory Agencies and Emergency Services
• Undertake scheme / project supervision, monitoring progress, attending site and office meetings in respect of the same, preparing instructions, appraising the Contract
• Carry out site inspections to ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications and quality and notify the Contract Administrator / Supervising Officer of any problems, errors, discrepancies or divergences and non-conforming work
• Carry out pre-practical completion and end of defects inspections, including preparation of 'snagging' lists and 'back-snagging' inspections if necessary

• A solid background in reactive maintenance and a strong understanding of housing regulations, property legislation, and health and safety standards
• 2391 Inspection and Testing,18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualifications
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and detailed specifications / technical information and liaise with contractors over the same
