Job Description

B.E.S. (Business & Engineering Solutions) is growing and thus welcoming a new Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer in our Energy team.


As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at B.E.S., you will enjoy a collaborative environment where you will work closely with others in an organization that encourages and values collaboration, mentoring, and continuous learning.


Your responsabilities:


  • Design and configure industrial networks (Ethernet, Profibus, Modbus, ZigBee, etc.)
  • Program and optimize PLCs (Allen Bradley, ABB, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation (analog & digital sensors, valves, VFDs, etc.)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives: line speed-up, lightweighting, energy savings
  • Assist during major overhauls, commissioning, and ramp-up phases
  • Draft risk assessments, method statements, and technical documentation
  • Ensure PLC communication & system interoperability
  • Lead and coach site teams during installations and upgrades
  • Collaborate with software and mechanical teams to resolve technical issues
  • Develop smart and embedded systems (home automation, terminals, electronic boards)


Your profile:


  • Engineering degree in Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in industrial environments (FMCG, energy, packaging, etc.)
  • Strong expertise in Allen Bradley (ControlLogix, SLC500, PLC5), ABB, Siemens
  • Hands-on experience in instrumentation (4-20 mA, RTD, HART, Endress+Hauser, etc.)
  • Knowledge of embedded programming (C, C++, Java), SCADA, and field protocols
  • Problem-solver, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Fluent in French, professional English required
