Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated EHS Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing health, safety, and environmental (EHS) programs to ensure a safe working environment that complies with applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and EHS audits to identify hazards and propose corrective measures.
- Train and educate staff on safety practices, emergency procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to integrate EHS practices into daily operations.
- Monitor and analyze EHS performance indicators and prepare reports for management.
- Manage incidents and accidents by conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards, including waste management and emissions.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to promote a safety culture within the organization.
Experience:
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience in EHS, preferably in the pharmaceutical or industrial sector.
Problem Solving:
- Must be proactive and assertive in recognizing, analyzing, and solving problems.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in proactive dialogue to propose pragmatic solutions in collaboration with management.
