The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced journalist or editor looking to shape the editorial direction of a respected industry publication. Industry or B2B publishing experience is welcome but not essential - we're equally interested in talented editors or journalists looking to move into a specialist publishing role.
The successful candidate will:
Write, commission and edit news and feature articles.
Plan and deliver editorial content across the magazine and website.
Cover industry events in the UK and overseas.
Work closely with freelance writers, contributors, trade bodies and academic experts.
Host and develop Fish Farmer's growing programme of webinars and podcasts (training provided).
The role also requires commercial awareness; working closely with the Commercial Manager to recognise opportunities that support Fish Farmer's wider editorial and digital platforms while maintaining editorial integrity.
