This is an excellent opportunity for a Consultant Ecologist to work on varied projects across the region, with opportunities to develop your technical skills and professional experience within a supportive team.

The Consultant Ecologist will be involved in:

• Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and ecological impact assessments
• Protected species surveys, mitigation and licensing
• Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and monitoring
• Habitat and botanical surveys
• Ecological management plans and construction-related ecological support
• Ecological Clerk of Works duties where required
• Supporting clients through planning and development projects

Requirements:

• Experience working within ecological consultancy
• Relevant ecology, environmental science or related qualification
• Experience with protected species and habitat surveys
• Understanding of BNG, ecological assessment and planning
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in Wolverhampton or within a commutable distance of the office
