The Ecologist will join a supportive and collaborative team, working across a varied project portfolio. The role will involve:

• Undertaking protected species and habitat surveys
• Preparing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and ecological reports
• Supporting Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments and UKHab surveys
• Contributing to ecological assessments and planning documentation
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders and wider project teams
• Supporting project delivery from fieldwork through to reporting

Requirements:

• Relevant ecology/environmental qualification
• Previous ecological consultancy experience
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
