Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Ellipse 9 Technical Consultant to join our team and help deliver high-quality, customised solutions

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and enhance Ellipse 9's Front End (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ellipse UI frameworks) for better usability and performance.

  • Extend and customise Back End functionality (Cobol, Java, MIMS Control Language).

  • Build custom modules, reports, and integrations with other enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, SCADA).

  • Manage and optimise Ellipse databases (Oracle/SQL Server), including advanced SQL/PL/SQL development.

  • Support Ellipse 9 upgrades, patches, and migrations while maintaining compatibility with existing customisations.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

What we're looking for:

  • 7+ years technical experience, with at least 3 years in Ellipse (ideally version 9).

  • Proficiency in Ellipse Front End development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and Back End (Cobol, Java, MIMS Control Language).

  • Strong database expertise (Oracle or SQL Server).

  • Hands-on integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Ellipse Integration Platform.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
