We are looking for an ECAD Consultant to join one of our biggest clients, a global leader in advanced industrial technology solutions, driving innovation across automation, electrification, and digitalization.

Location: Lisbon (hybrid)
What you will do:
• Support development teams in creating and maintaining schematics and layouts for circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
• Provide technical support for ECAD systems, particularly Zuken CR8000 and other ECAD tools.
• Develop and optimize workflows for schematic and layout design to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Customize and automate ECAD applications to enhance productivity and integrate tools into development processes.
• Analyze and implement requirements from hardware developers and PCB designers.
• Perform simulations and tests to ensure quality and functionality of developed solutions.
What you are like:
• Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent; alternatively, certification as a state-certified electrical engineer.
• Several years of experience in electronic development, ECAD support, or schematic/layout design processes.
• Strong professional experience with ECAD tools, particularly Zuken CR8000 or similar.
• Solid understanding of R&D processes, especially in hardware and electronics development.
• Experience in the PLM domain (Teamcenter and EDA Client is a plus).
• High IT affinity or experience supporting technical systems and processes.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, C++, PowerShell, Visual Basic, AutoIT, and CMD.
• Excellent communication skills and structured, service oriented mindset.
• Excellent English; German is a plus.
